The Emergency Simulation Program (ESP)

External Applications can be included in ESP simulations. This allows an instructor to run a fire-growth model program, Excel spreadsheet, mapping program, even an internet browser, as part of an ESP simulation.
Applications are specified in Edit mode and appear on the ESP toolbar as above. Up to 10 external applications can be specified.
In Run mode, clicking on any application icon brings up a control dialog that allows the instructor to launch, kill, show, and hide its corresponding application.
